Storage Tips
Keep in a loosely sealed large plastic bag with the cut stem down.
Head lettuce is best eaten within the first few days after harvest but can store up to a week.
Only wash right before consuming. To wash, separate leaves from head, tearing into bite-sized pieces and put in a salad spinner to wash.
Culinary Tips
For varieties like “Little Gem” try cutting in half, drizzling with oil and grilling for a crunchy and refreshing side dish.
